Taylor Overbey is an accomplished artist, author, and educator currently serving as a professor in the Foundations Department at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Fine Arts Painting and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media from Ferris State University, and a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Louisiana. As an author and illustrator, Overbey has published several children's books, including "The I-Wants and the Gimmies," "The Elephant in the Living Room," and "The SNIT and George Franklin Whit." His stories are inspired by his own children and their experiences.
