Weird Walk began as three friends setting out across an ancient trackway in southern England wearing entirely unsuitable footwear. What started as an ill-prepared ramble grew into a wider exploration of the landscapes, folklore, and ritual traditions of the British Isles. Through walking old paths, visiting sacred sites, and immersing themselves in seasonal customs, they have sought to highlight the sense of wonder at the heart of rambling. Their work spans a zine, social media, music, and a podcast, all celebrating the magic woven into the land. Their first book, Weird Walk: Wanderings and Wonderings through the British Ritual Year, was published in 2023.
