Raymond Radiguet (1903-23) entered Parisian literary circles upon leaving school, becoming the protégé of Jean Cocteau. Having written only two short but celebrated novels and a volume of poetry, Radiguet contracted typhoid fever and died at the tragically young age of twenty. |
