Amy Agnew Irvine is a fourth-generation native of the San Francisco Bay Area. Amy has enjoyed many roles throughout her career, ranging from college instructor to tech consultant, fifth-grade teacher, and vice president. But her role as author remains a close-second favorite behind being Mom to Emily and Colby. When she's not writing, speaking, or facilitating workshops, Amy can be found wearing her Cape to paddleboard, golf, run, dance, and cook gourmet meals for her favorite people. She lives in Elk Grove, California, with her beloved husky mix, Nellie.
