G.W.F. Hegel has defined philosophy as the real inner centre of all science: Philosophy generates itself as the centre of a 'circle of circles' of knowledge, at which it never looks only from the outside. The contributions presented here test Hegel's claim both in relation to the philosophical system as a whole and to the individual sciences, as the centre of which philosophy should prove to be. The aim is both to understand Hegel more precisely and to think him further - also creatively.
