Jon Klassen is the bestselling author and illustrator of The Rock from the Sky, Skull, I Want My Hat Back, We Found a Hat, named a Publisher's Weekly Best Children's Book of the Year, and This Is Not My Hat, which won the Caldecott Medal and Kate Greenaway Medal. He is also the illustrator of the Shapes series, Extra Yarn, which received a Caldecott Honor, Sam and Dave Dig a Hole and How Does Santa Go Down the Chimney? all written by Mac Barnett. His Shapes series of picture books with Mac Barnett has been adapted into a stop-motion animated TV series on Apple TV+.
