Tonight, for the first time, Flynn is going to sleep in a proper big boy bed. But when bedtime rolls around, he just can't get to sleep. There's a walrus in his bed, of course! Mum and Dad play along while Flynn gives "Walrus" blankets, snacks, milk and a top-secret trip to the toilet, but it doesn't look like anyone is getting much sleep tonight.
The milestone of transitioning from a cot to a proper bed is complicated for Flynn by the presence of a walrus in his bed. As to whether the walrus is real, or imagined, Flynn's parents are about to find out, over the course of this bedtime book described by the "Irish Independent" as having 'echoes of "The Tiger Who Came To Tea"'.
