The long-awaited eleventh novel in the Bernie Rhodenbarr series. A crisp and assured read, sumptuously funny but the overriding feeling I'm left with after turning over the final page - gratification. It made me smile throughout and from a book, you can't ask any more than that. A wonderful and warm read, a great introduction, albeit a late one, to a series that I now have no option other than to begin at the beginning!
