Gary Atkins is associate professor of communication at Seattle University.
Atkins is narrative nonfiction journalist as well as professor of communication with an associate appointment in gender studies at Seattle University. He is author of three books, including Gay Seattle: Stories of Exile and Belonging (University of Washington Press, 2013).
